Dale Chihuly

Here is our Dale Chihuly inspired chandelier. It is made of plastic water bottles, plastic plates and plastic cups. The students colored them with colored sharpies and we melted them with a heat gun.

Human Tape Sculptures

My advanced art class made tape sculptures by wrapping their bodies in packaging tape. Many rolls of tape were used and no heads were injured in the making of the sculptures. They had a blast!

"Doodle 4 Google"

My art students participated in the Google 4 Doodle contest. The theme this year was "If I Could Invent One Thing To Make The World a Better Place..." Check out some of their entries.

Mr. Fuller Brown visited our class!

Mr. Fuller Brown spoke to my art classes about different drawing techniques and drawing portraits. We all enjoyed his visit and learned some great tips and tricks. One lucky student from each class was drawn by Mr. Brown and the student was able to keep the portrait.
